Providence Gamelin House is managed by Providence Supportive Housing.
Welcome to Providence Gamelin House, a safe and affordable apartment complex for seniors, ages 62 and older, in Seattle's Rainier Vista neighborhood. We offer 77 private apartments, allowing residents to live independently in one of Seattle's most culturally diverse communities.
We opened our doors in 2005 and are owned and operated by Providence Health and Services. In addition to providing residents with a safe place to call home, we are pleased to offer services coordination to help our residents age in place. Providence Gamelin House is also conveniently located directly above Providence ElderPlace, an innovative program that provides older adults with health care and social services.

Since this property was built or renovated using funding from HUD's Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly program, residency is usually restricted to households earning 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or less with at least one member age 62 years or older. Tenants pay rent based on household income. This rent is usually the highest of the following three amounts: either 30% adjusted monthly income, or 10% unadjusted monthly income, or, if receiving welfare assistance, the housing costs portion of this assistance.
