Cypress does not work off of a waitlist and instead, applicants are matched and referred through a Coordinated Entry System (CES), with the population being chronically homeless.  In order to determine if you are a match for the property, prospective applicants will have to conduct an in-person assessment as well as complete the VI-SPDAT assessment.  These assessments will assist with identifying the client’s level of need, appropriate housing intervention, and available housing resources within the Coordinated Entry System.  After completing a VI-SPDAT, you may be assigned to a Housing Navigator, based on need, scores, priorities, and staff caseload.  Completing the assessment is not a guarantee of housing.
