Open: Housing Authority of Raleigh County Public Housing

The Housing Authority of the County of Raleigh (HACR) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACR offers one Public Housing community with 60 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the HACR to pick up an application, located at 282 George St., Beckley, WV 25801, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
  2. Request that an application be mailed to you by calling (304) 255-5164, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, Social Security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HACR does have a preference for local residents.For more information, the HACR can be reached by calling (304) 255-5164 during normal office hours.
