Heartland Housing and Community First are proud to introduce the 37th Street School Apartments; housing for those who are 55 years+ at the 37th Street School located in the Washington Park neighborhood. The mission is to provide our low to moderate income households with the highest quality affordable housing, while transforming the school back into a neighborhood asset and positively contributing to a vibrant Washington Park neighborhood.

37th Street Apartments is the adaptive re-use of the former 37th Street School into 49-units of high-quality, light-filled modern affordable living for older adults aged 55 or older. The building includes 22 studio apartments, 21 one-bedroom units and 6 two-bedroom units including individually controlled heating, private bathrooms, and appliance furnished kitchens.
