Stonegate Apartments in a beautiful 36 unit apartment community that sits on a picturesque hillside in Pennington Gap, Virginia. Our community is tucked away and quiet with manicured and landscaped grounds. It's a great neighborhood and we have ample outdoor areas for the kids to run and play including our playground.

The apartment buildings each have eight apartments with four upstairs and four downstairs. The property underwent an extensive renovation in 2005 and has updated appliances and heat and air conditioning systems.

Our appliances and windows meet Energy Star requirements helping to lower our residents utility bills.

We have several handicapped accessible units throughout the site and the entire site was made handicapped accessible in our 2005 renovation.

Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)

Since this property has received funding in part through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, a certain number of units are set aside for lower income households. Households must earn either less than 50% or 60% of the area median income (depending on the set-aside option chosen by the property owner) to qualify for these units. Rents in these units are capped at a maximum of 30% of the set-aside area median income (adjusted for unit size). Some rental units in this property may not be subject to LIHTC and therefore have higher rents and no maximum household income requirement.
