The Alazán-Apache Courts was the first public housing community constructed in the City of San Antonio. Built in 1939 as a family community, it consists of three properties. Alazán, Apache and Guadalupe Homes. The Alazan-Apache neighborhood provides facilities for both adults and children. With the Valero Baseball Field nearby, the adults can build neighborhood relationships while the children have access to three playgrounds. This is a family-friendly community. WI-FI services are available in the Community Room.
Generally, households earning up to the income limit in the table below for their household size are eligible for units participating in a HUD rental assistance program in San Antonio but actual income limits may differ for units at Alazán-Apache Courts.

Since this property is owned and managed by a Public Housing Authority, all of the rents at this property are based on tenant incomes. Tenants will make a monthly contribution toward rent equal to 30% of their adjusted income. A housing authority may establish a minimum rent of up to $50.
