Bucks Villa is an independent living facility for people who are HIV positive or living with AIDS. The residence is managed by Family Service Association of Bucks County. Residents are single men and women eighteen years of age and older, all of whom are living with a disability documented by the Social Security Administration. All residents are capable of self-care and join in the spirit of communal living. The Villa is an environment free of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
Generally, households earning up to the income limit in the table below for their household size are eligible for units participating in a HUD rental assistance program in New Hope but actual income limits may differ for units at Bucks Villa, Inc.

Since this property was built or renovated using funding from HUD's current Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities program or legacy Section 202 program, residency is usually restricted to households earning 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or less with at least one adult member with a disability. Tenants pay rent based on household income. This rent is usually the highest of the following three amounts: either 30% adjusted monthly income, or 10% unadjusted monthly income, or, if receiving welfare assistance, the housing costs portion of this assistance.
