The 40-unit complex is a NO-SMOKING, low-income senior housing Tax Credit project; designated for occupants 62 years of age or older that is capable and desires to live independently.
The project contains 36 one-bedroom apartments, which have 742 square feet of living space, and four two-bedroom, two-baths apartments, which have 1014 square feet of living space. All units have a kitchen, dining room, and a living room. Handicap-equipped units have ADA approved showers, lowered light switches and appliances designed for wheelchair users.
Library & Computer Room - A Library is set up on the First Floor complete with on-line computers for residents use.
Multi-Purpose Room - A multi-purpose room is available for meetings, hobby/craft classes, and wellness and exercise programs. Regularly planned activities and social gatherings, guided by the interest of those who reside at Tanglewood Apartments will have full use of this room.
