Dating back to 1909, Ladder 260 is home to the site of the former Minneapolis Fire Station 1, rich in history and rooted by community. Our affordable studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartment homes blend contemporary design and modern convenience with vintage touches inspired by the original fire station.
These new construction homes deliver 90 Tax Credit apartments at 60% AMI to downtown Minneapolis. Within these homes, 18 apartments are at 50% AMI including 5 Long Term Homeless apartments at 30% AMI with project-based vouchers with Minneapolis Public Housing Authority. Income limits do apply to all homes. *All of the 30% project-based voucher units are occupied; if you are interested, you can join our interest list for future availability. We still have 50% and 60% AMI apartments for rent!*

Since this property has received funding in part through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, a certain number of units are set aside for lower income households. Households must earn either less than 50% or 60% of the area median income (depending on the set-aside option chosen by the property owner) to qualify for these units. Rents in these units are capped at a maximum of 30% of the set-aside area median income (adjusted for unit size). Some rental units in this property may not be subject to LIHTC and therefore have higher rents and no maximum household income requirement.
