It features 24 private, one-bedroom apartments with a full bath and living room plus a variety of features to make life easier including elevators, laundry facilities and health checks. According to HUD regulations, each resident pays 30 percent of adjusted monthly income as rent, which includes heat, water and trash pick-up while electricity is billed separately. Residents must be 62 years of age or older.
