The Lifebridge Campus

56 Margin St, Salem, Massachusetts 01970

The Lifebridge Campus offers an emergency & transitional shelter in Salem.

Lifebridge’s mission is to end the crisis of homelessness. Research shows that two factors are responsible for the problem of homelessness: a lack of affordable housing and the persistence of poverty in our community. We believe the way to solve this crisis, one person at a time, is to provide housing with supportive services, to encourage personal and income development, and stability in physical and mental health.

This project has received some funding from a participating jurisdiction (local or state government agency) through the HUD HOME Investments Partnerships Program (HOME). All other HOME-assisted units must be occupied by families earning 80% or less of AMI, but in practice most are reserved for families earning 60% or less AMI. Maximum monthly rent is capped with a Low HOME Rent for <50% AMI units and a High HOME Rent for the remaining HOME-assisted units.
