Village of Hope provides a safe-haven to single mothers and families who may be homeless, have a mental illness or substance abuse issue. Eligible residents are welcome for as long as they need, and some may become permanent residents. Each unit has its own identity and includes a small balcony overlooking a courtyard – providing residents with a small area of outdoor space to call their own. The courtyard itself is sheltered by the L-shaped building so that residents feel secure in all parts of the complex. In addition, community partners provide trustworthy education and training resources for residents that develop skills to lead independent, fulfilled lives.
