The Tower at Southdale is managed by Retirement Housing Foundation.

The Tower at Southdale provides its residents with an atmosphere of growth, security, and serenity – growth through social contact and stimulating activities, security in familiar surroundings which are protected from unwanted intruders, and serenity in a home free of the responsibilities of maintenance and upkeep.

The Tower at Southdale is a smoke-free community.

Residents enjoy frequent parties, potluck suppers, bingo, and other activities which are held in the community room. Our community actively participates in RHF’s Project H.A.N.D.S. Southdale Tower is an affordable, older adult (62+) community with several apartments equipped to accommodate those who are mobility impaired.

A Social Service Coordinator is available for residents’ personal needs.

Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly

Since this property was built or renovated using funding from HUD's Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly program, residency is usually restricted to households earning 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or less with at least one member age 62 years or older. Tenants pay rent based on household income. This rent is usually the highest of the following three amounts: either 30% adjusted monthly income, or 10% unadjusted monthly income, or, if receiving welfare assistance, the housing costs portion of this assistance.
