Taylor Village Apartments is managed by TBG Residental.
Taylor Village is TBG Residential’s first historic acquisition rehab located off right off of Highway 341 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Conversion of the old Taylor Memorial Hospital and the 3 additional new construction buildings are anticipated to begin the spring of 2017. TBG’s goal for this project is to completely preserve the architectural integrity of the original Taylor Hospital while updating the interior to support 34 new apartment units. Martin Riley & Associates have created a unique one of a kind floor plan in all 34 units, giving the new living spaces a modern, New York City style feel. In addition to the rehabbed building, there will be another 34 units spread across the new construction buildings with TBG’s signature traditional layout. We anticipate this project to fit all renters’ needs and personalities with our diverse range of floor plans.
Since this property has received funding in part through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, a certain number of units are set aside for lower income households. Households must earn either less than 50% or 60% of the area median income (depending on the set-aside option chosen by the property owner) to qualify for these units. Rents in these units are capped at a maximum of 30% of the set-aside area median income (adjusted for unit size). Some rental units in this property may not be subject to LIHTC and therefore have higher rents and no maximum household income requirement.
