Fellowship Place

288 DWIGHT ST, New Haven, Connecticut 6511

Fellowship Place responded to the needs of the growing number of mentally ill people without a permanent place to live by adding a Supportive Housing component in 2002. Fellowship Commons provides a permanent and affordable home for 26 individuals. All tenants are eligible for case management and support services to help them be successful. Rents are subsidized by The Housing Authority of the City of New Haven.

In November 2009 Fellowship Place expanded the housing program with the completion of renovations to Fellowship Commons Westville, an 18-unit apartment building. The project was made possible by funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, The Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Department of Social Services, and the City of New Haven Livable Cities Initiative. Case management and support services are available on site.
