Madera Vista Apartments is managed by Bridge Communities.
Madera Vista is a three-phase, intergenerational, mixed-income property located in Temecula. Phase One comprises 20 affordable apartments for households earning up to 80% of the area median income and Phases Two and Three offer 70 affordable apartments for households earning 30-60% of the area median income, as well as 20 units designed specifically for seniors. Seven apartments are set aside for Project-Based Section 8 vouchers and filled on a referral basis from the Housing Authority of the County of Riverside. Madera Vista is located close to transit and amenities including two grocery stores, a hardware store, banks and other retail shops, along with several nearby large parks.
Since this property has received funding in part through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, a certain number of units are set aside for lower income households. Households must earn either less than 50% or 60% of the area median income (depending on the set-aside option chosen by the property owner) to qualify for these units. Rents in these units are capped at a maximum of 30% of the set-aside area median income (adjusted for unit size). Some rental units in this property may not be subject to LIHTC and therefore have higher rents and no maximum household income requirement.
