Met North was the first phase of a two phase development. It consists of 70 affordable apartments and 1 manager’s unit in a four story elevator building. A separate 2-story parking garage provides ample car, motorcycle, and secure bicycle storage for residents.
The building is designed in accordance with Green Building Guidelines and implements state of the art building technologies in an effort to promote energy efficiency and sustainability. Amenities include a community kitchen and multi-purpose room, staff and service provider offices, laundry facilities, and two shared outdoor areas totaling approximately 1/3 of an acre for children and adults to play and relax.
Met North opened its doors in October of 2016.

Since this property has received funding in part through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, a certain number of units are set aside for lower income households. Households must earn either less than 50% or 60% of the area median income (depending on the set-aside option chosen by the property owner) to qualify for these units. Rents in these units are capped at a maximum of 30% of the set-aside area median income (adjusted for unit size). Some rental units in this property may not be subject to LIHTC and therefore have higher rents and no maximum household income requirement.
