Wexford Way Apartments at Emerald Vista

Emerald Vista is a master-planned community designed to serve a broad cross section of the Dublin community. Emerald Vista has reused and transformed the 24-acre Arroyo Vista public housing site into a vibrant, mixed-use, mixed-income community. This exciting new development provides 198 for-sale market rate homes and 180 affordable rental apartments for families and seniors. In addition, a Community Center, a Childcare Center, active open space areas, and access to a regional trail along Alamo Creek have been included.

The $54.6 million affordable development will be targeted to family and senior households earning 30% to 55% of the Alameda County Area Median Income. Currently that limit is $27,090 to $49,665 for a four person household. Carlow Court and Wexford Way have been developed utilizing the latest “green building” techniques and materials, and is designed in accordance with Build it Green’'s GreenPoint Rating system. The project includes solar hot water and solar photovoltaics to reduce energy consumption in our project.

Through Eden Housing's free resident services program, families of Wexford Way benefit from programs such as technology training, financial literacy, community involvement, green education, health, wellness, and safety. Senior residents living at Carlow Court are provided with programs designed to help them “age in place” and live independently in a healthy and productive way for as long as possible. Eden Housing provides its residents with regular support and access to valuable resources within their communities. Additionally, all Eden Housing residents are eligible to apply for the Howard T. Collins Memorial Scholarship to further their educational and career goals.
