The Algoma Housing Authority (AHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.Please note: There is no age limit to apply, but you must meet maximum occupancy.The AHA offers one Public Housing community with 39 units for general occupancy, ranging in size from 1 to 2 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the AHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 145 Grand View Ct., Algoma, WI 54201, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
  2. Download a pre-application online here, then print and complete.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.No documents are needed at this time.The AHA does have a preference for: Elderly, disabled, applicants at least 62 years of age or older, two-person occupancy (if one member of the household is at least 62 years old), or near elderly.For more information, visit the AHA website, or call the office at (920) 487-5905 from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
