Open: Huntington Housing Authority Public Housing

The Huntington Housing Authority (HHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list is applications until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.

To apply, download and print the Head of Household Form, Pre-Application Form, and Additional Adult Packet (if there are other members of the household who are 18+) online here. Select the link for each form needed.

Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the HHA, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am, Monday-Thursday.

Reasonable Accommodation

Applicants who need help completing the application due to disability can make a reasonable accommodation request to the housing authority via (304) 526-4400.

Closed: Huntington, West Virginia Section 8 Voucher

The Huntington Housing Authority (HHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for three days in August, 2018. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the application at the HHA office.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.
