Open: Housing Authority of Mingo County Public Housing

The Housing Authority of Mingo County (HAMC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families.Please note: The HAMC does not offer a senior/disabled Public Housing program.The HAMC offer once Public Housing community with 35 units, ranging in size from three to four bedrooms.There are four ways to apply:

  1. Visit the HAMC to apply in person, located at 5026 Helena Ave., Delbarton WV 25670, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
  2. Download an application here, then print and complete.
  3. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 304-475-4663, Ext. 306, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
  4. Apply online here.
Once the paper application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.No preferences were noted.More information can be found by visiting the HAMC website at http://www.mingohousing.com/, or by calling 304-475-4663, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.

Closed: Housing Authority of Mingo County Section 8 Voucher

The Housing Authority of Mingo County (HAMC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open in July 2015. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen. 


There were three ways to apply in 2015:
  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Request an application be mailed to you.
  3. Visit the HAMC office in person to fill out an application in person.

No preferences were noted.
