The Housing Authority of the City of Walla Walla is accepting applications for their rental assistance programs. 

Applications must be completed and turned in to the Walla Wall Housing Authority temporary location at 1627 Evergreen Street; no drop box available.  

The housing authority has stated the following preferences:

  • Live in Walla Walla County
  • Work in Walla Walla County
  • Live in Columbia County
  • Work in Columbia County

The Walla Walla Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.This housing authority offers one community with 84 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply for public housing:1. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 501 Cayuse StreetWalla Walla Washington 99362, Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am and 5pm.2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 509-527-4542, Monday-Friday between the hours of 10 and 5pm.Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time.This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: victim of domestic violence, enrolled in a job training program, living in transitional housing, elderly disabled, or employed.More information can be found by visiting the housing authority website at http://www.wallawallaha.org/, or they can be reached with any questions you may have by calling 509-527-4542 , Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am and 5pm.
