The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) is accepting Section 8 Project-Based Voucher and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program waiting list applications for Diggs Town Phase l Apartments from June 27, 2024 at 9:00 am, until July 29, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2024.

This waiting list is for the following property:

  • Diggs Town Phase 1 - located at 1619 Vernon Drive in Norfolk, Virginia.

Requirements for Residency: The head of household and all household members 18 years or older (with the exception of full-time students) must be employed a minimum of 15 hours per week for a minimum of six months unless elderly or disabled or the primary caretaker of a blind person or a disabled person as defined by the Social Security Act.
