The Brattleboro Housing Authority(BHA) is accepting Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 4, 2022, until further notice.

Please note: According to the BHA, applicants must be "under 62 years old, have a disability or disabled household member and be previously homeless and currently in a supported housing program."

To apply while the waitlist is open, print the paper application.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

The Brattleboro Housing Authority (BHA) is accepting Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications at Snow Block apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of February, 2021 until further notice.

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Print the paper application.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Live, work or have notice to work in: Brattleboro, Vernon, Guilford, Halifax, Marlboro, Newfane, Brookline, Putney, or Dummerston, VT.
  • Disabled
  • Formally Homeless and currently living in a permanent supported housing program or rapid rehousing project (shelter plus care, transitions to housing, family supported housing, youth transitional housing).

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
