Open Soon: Port Arthur Area, Texas Section 8 Voucher
The Port Arthur Housing Authority (PAHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from July 1, 2024, until 1,000 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in July, 2022.
Preferences
This waiting list has the following preferences:
- Homeless – Must be able to provide documentation from social service agency assisting with nightly accommodations.
- Working or unable to work due to age or disability.
Selection Process
It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

The Housing Authority of the City of Port Arthur (HACPA) is accepting Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of May, 2019, until further notice.
