Housing Opportunity Management Enterprises (HOME) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from September 14, 2023 at 8:00 am, until July 5, 2024 at 5:00 pm CT.
To apply while the waitlist is open, complete the online application.
This waiting list has the following preferences:
- Family that has been terminated from its HCV program and had to reapply due to insufficient program funding.
- Family that was involuntarily displaced due to conversion of Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) of a public housing project, where specific funding is not awarded to HACEP by HUD.
- Special program admissions due to targeted funding from HUD.
- A government action or a state or federally declared natural disaster or involuntary displacement
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
