Open: 3, 4 and 5-Bedroom Public Housing

The Housing Authority of Conway (HAC) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for 3, 4 and 5-Bedroom apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of May 9, 2024, until further notice.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Displaced by disaster or government action - Individuals or families displaced by national government action or a federally declared disaster.
• Working - Head of Household is working or has been hired to work at least 25 hours per week in Horry County.
• Elderly - Single applicant that is elderly (62 years or older).
• Disabled - Single applicant that is disabled or a family with a disabled household member (must be receiving benefits or have proof of having applied for benefits).

Selected applicants are placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Pick up an application from the HAC office, located at 2303 Leonard Avenue Conway, SC 29527. From 8:00 am until 3:00.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be: Returned to the HAC office, address mentioned above.
