The Aiken Housing Authority (AHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.Please note: Only the one and four bedroom waiting list is open at this time.The AHA offers Public Housing communities with 242 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the AHA on the third Tuesday of the month to submit an application in person. The AHA is located at 100 Rogers Terrace, Aiken, SC 29801.Please note: If you are disabled or elderly, an application can be mailed to you by calling 803-649-6673, during normal office hours.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The AHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: elderly, disabled, or displaced.More information can be found by visiting the AHA website at http://aikenhousing.org, or by calling 803-649-6673, during normal office hours.
