Open: Puerto Rico Section 8 Voucher

The Puerto Rico Department of Housing (PRDH) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open on every Friday, until 25 applications have been accepted. This waiting list opened on May 21, 2018 at 8:00 am AT, and will re-open every Friday until further notice.

To apply, complete the application at a PRDH regional office listed here; every Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Each regional office will accept only the first 25 applications. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, or an emancipated minor.

The following documentation is required: Photo ID for all adult household members, 18 years of age and older, and social security cards of all family members. 

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. Applicants will be notified by mail.
