The Washington County Housing Authority (WCHA) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of November 28, 2024, until further notice.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Displaced by a natural disaster
  • Displaced by government action
  • Victim of domestic violence
  • Employed
  • Enrolled in a job or educational training program
  • Veteran
  • Live and/or work in Washington County

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open,

  1. Print the paper application.
  2. Complete the online application available on the WCHA website.

The Washington County Housing Authority (WCHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from November 13, 2023, until November 15, 2023. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waiting list was open, applicants were required to apply at the Washington Crown Center.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.
