The Montgomery County Housing Authority (MCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from June 6, 2019, until June 12, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The waiting list had the following preferences: Live, work, or have notification of a job in Montgomery County.

1,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
