Open: Lebanon and Dauphin County, Pennsylvania Section 8 Voucher

The Housing Authority of the County of Lebanon (HACL) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from July 5, 2023 at 8:00 am ET, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Persons who live, work or attend school in Lebanon or Dauphin County
  • Victims of domestic violence
  • Persons in a transitional or condemned housing 
  • Persons who are employed and homeless persons

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighted by order of preferences.

The Lebanon County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.This housing authority offers seven public housing communities for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply for public housing, please follow this link to apply online.Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation number. Please write that number down for future reference.This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: live and/or work in Lebanon County, employed at least 17.5 hours a week, over the age of 62, disabled, living in substandard conditions, rent burden, forced to move due to no fault of your own, family member under the age of six or a member of the family is pregnant and living in a house that has been identified as a lead risk.More information can be found by visiting the housing authority website at http://www.lebanoncountyhousing.com/, or by calling 717-273-1639 during normal office hours.
