The Housing Authority of Indiana County (HAIC) is currently accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications. This waiting list is open indefinitely.
Please note: Applicants residing in Pennsylvania have an approximate 6 month to a year wait for a voucher.
There are two ways to obtain an application:
1. Visit the housing authority in person to pick up an application, located at 104 Philadelphia St., Indiana, PA 15701, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.
2. Download an application here, then print and complete.
Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
The HAIC does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: veteran, homeless, resident of pennsylvania, disabled, enrolled in an educational or job training program.
