The Northeast Oregon Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program waiting list is currently open and accepting applications.

The application is online at:  https://neoha.org/online-app/.

The application is lengthy so before you begin make sure you have Social Security numbers for all household members, birthdate of household members, monthly income for all household members.  In addition, if there is more than one adult in the household, each adult will have to eSign the pre application.

According to the Northeast Oregon Housing Authority website, the waiting list is 12 to 18 months long.

The Northeast Oregon Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. For a detailed list of each apartment community this housing authority has, please follow this link.This housing authority offers ten public housing apartment communities located throughout Northeast Oregon.There are four ways to apply for public housing:1. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 2608 May Lane, P.O. Box 3357, La Grande, OR 97850, between the hours of 10am and 3pm, Monday-Thursday.2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 541-963-2465, Monday-Thursday, between the hours of 10am-3pm.3. Request an application be emailed to you by emailing the housing authority at audrey.neoha@gmail.com4. Apply for public housing online here.Once the application has been completed:1.
