The Wilburton Housing Authority (WHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The WHA offers one Public Housing community with 36 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the WHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 600 E Ash Ave., # 19, Wilburton, OK 74578, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm CT; and 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The WHA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the WHA office at (918) 465-2134 from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
