The Clayton Housing Authority (CHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.Please note: The wait time for Public Housing is quite lengthy.The CHA offers one Public Housing community with 30 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the CHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 517 N 1st St, Clayton, OK 74536, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The CHA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the CHA office at (918) 569-4434, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
