The Grandfield Housing Authority (GHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The GHA offers one Public Housing community with 40 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the GHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 130 E 1st St., Grandfield, OK 73546, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-applicaiton has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday. It is best to call the office at (580) 479-5256 before visiting the GHA.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The GHA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.The current wait time for Public Housing is approximately 12-18 months.For more information, call the GHA office at (580) 479-5256 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
