The Mercer County Housing Authority (MCHA) is currently accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications. This waiting list is open indefinitely.

Please Note: The current wait for a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher is approximately four months.

To apply, please follow the link below to download an application, then print and complete:

Mercer County Section 8 application.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed to 1500 3rd Ave., P.O. Box 517, Mandan, ND 58554. Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.

The MCHA does not have a preference: Your application is placed by date and time received.

Please be aware the the Morton, Emmons and Mercer County Housing Authorities are all managed by the HJL Management Company, but each housing authority administers its own waiting list.
