The Robeson County Housing Authority (RCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The RCHA offers two Public Housing communities with 290 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply: The application can be downloaded here.Once the application has been completed, you must visit the RCHA to hand deliver it on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, between the hours of 10:00 am and 11:00 am. The RCHA is located at 100 Oxendine Circle, Lumberton, NC.Be sure to bring these documents with you: birth certificates, social security cards, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The RCHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: veteran, live and work in Lumberton, employed, disabled, displaced by fire, displaced by natural disaster, or substandard living.More information can be found by visiting the RCHA website, or by calling 910-738-4866 during normal office hours.
