The North Wilkesboro Housing Authority (NWHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The NWHA offers one Public Housing community with 203 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the NWHA to apply in person, located at 101 Hickory St., North Wilkesboro, NC, on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 9:00 am until 11:00 am, and 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm.Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: birth certificates, social security cards marriage certificate, print out of child support showing last six months, proof of pregnancy, if applicable, bank statements, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.More information can be found by visiting the NWHA website at http://nwhousingauthority.com/, or by calling 336-667-3203, during normal office hours.
