Closed: Durham County, North Carolina Section 8 Voucher

The Durham Housing Authority (DHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. from August 20, 2018 at 9:00 am until August 26, 2018 at 11:59 pm ET. It was last open for one week in August, 2018; and before that in September, 2016, and in June, 2014. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Persons Who Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Those Terminated from Assistance Due to Lack of Funding, Current PHA Residents, and Those Displaced by Government Action.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
