The Brevard Housing Authority (BHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The BHA offers one Public Housing Community with 162 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply: Visit the BHA to pick up an application, located at 133 West Morgan St, Brevard, NC, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates for children, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The BHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: elderly, disabled, homeless, or live and/or work in Brevard.For more information, the BHA can be reached by calling 828-884-2146, between the hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
