The Harrietstown Housing authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.This housing authority offers one senior disabled apartment community, utilities are included, and one family apartment community and both are located in Harrietstown.There are four ways to apply for public housing:1. Request an application be faxed to you, by faxing the request to 518-891-3050.2. Request an application be emailed to you , by emailing the request to sclarkin@harrietstownha.org.3. Request an application be mailed to you, by calling the housing authority at 518-891-3050.4. Stop in the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 14 Kiwassa Rd. #1, Saranac Lake, NY 12983, during normal office hours.5. Download an application here, to print and complete.Once the application has been completed, it can be faxed, emailed, mailed, or dropped off, all of the addresses and numbers are listed above. Be sure to include these copies with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, public assistance award letter, current bank statements, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.More information can be found by visiting the housing authority website at http://www.harrietstownha.org/, or they can be reached with any questions you may have, by calling 518-891-3050, during normal office hours.
