The Albany Housing Authority (AHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for five days in March, 2018; and before that for two weeks from May until April, 2015. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.
There were two ways to apply during the opening period:
Once the paper application was completed, it must have been dropped off at the AHA office.
These waiting lists has the following preferences: Referred by Local Assistance Program, Disabled, Displaced by Government Action, Displaced by Natural Disaster, Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Working/Employed, Job Training or Higher Education.
Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
