The Weehawken Housing Authority (WHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The WHA does not have a family public housing program.The WHA offers one public housing community with 99 units dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.To apply for public housing, download the application here, then print and complete.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed to 525 Gregory Ave., Weehawken, NJ. No documents are needed at this time.The WHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: rent burden, displaced, substandard living conditions.More information can be found by visiting the WHA website at http://weehawkenha.com/, or by calling 201-348-4188 during normal office hours.
