The Claremont Housing Authority (CHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of September, 2019, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Print the paper application. Select the "Click Here to print out this application" link.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Live or work in Claremont NH or have been notified that they are hired to work in Claremont.
  • Involuntarily Displaced - forced to move from their home as a result of a natural disaster such as a fire or flood or by code enforcement or actions by a private owner or victims of violence.
  • Pay more than 50% gross monthly income for rent and utilities for at least 90 days.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
