The St. Charles Housing Authority (SCHA) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted on October 3, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.
There were two ways to apply during the opening period:
Once the application was completed, it must have been turned in to the SCHA office at the address and hours above. Only the head of household was required to be present to submit the application, and they must have provided a government issued ID. The head of household must have been at least 18 years old at the time of application submission.
This waiting list had the following preferences: Living in St. Charles County; Working; Elderly (62+); Disabled; Veteran
Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
The SCHA does not disclose an applicant's position on the waiting list, but will confirm if the applicant is active, and will make sure all information is up to date.
