Open: Sedalia Housing Authority Public Housing

The Sedalia Housing Authority (SHA) 1-5 Bedroom, Public Housing waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least August 15, 2019, until further notice.

There are three ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Complete the online application here. 
  2. Visit the SHA to pick up an application, located at 500 Welch Court, Sedalia, MO 65301, during normal office hours.

Once the paper application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

Reasonable Accommodation

Applicants who need help completing the application due to disability can make a reasonable accommodation request to the housing authority via (660)827-1400.

Closed: Johnson and Pettis County, Missouri Section 8 Voucher

The Sedalia Housing Authority (SHA) Section 8 Housing Choice voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from August 26, 2019, until 500 applications were received. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to open and print the application online.

Once the application has been submitted, it must have been turned into the SHA.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.
