Open: Stuart Parker, Bear Creek and Bryant Walkway l & ll Family Apartments Section 8 Project-Based Voucher

Please Note: Due to the decentralized nature of affordable housing information, the information about this waiting list may be out of date.

The Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) is accepting Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for Stuart Parker, Bear Creek and Bryant Walkway Family Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of September 22, 2022, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Download and print the paper application.
  2. Pick up an application at the Administrative CHA office, located at 201 Switzler Street, Columbia. MO 65203, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm CT. Monday-Friday.

Once the application has been completed, it must be: Dropped off at the Admin CHA office, address and time mentioned above.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • The Head, Co-Head or Spouse of the Household is a person with a disability.
  • The Head, Co-Head or Spouse of the Household is elderly 62+ or older.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.

Please note: According to the CHA website "Paquin Tower (Persons with Disabilities and Elderly 60+)"

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Download and print the paper application.

Closed: Boone County, Missouri Section 8 Voucher

The Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for five days in October, 2018; and before that for five days in June, 2015. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Download and print the application online.
  2. Pick up an application at the CHA office.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must have been hand delivered to the CHA office by October 12, 2018 at 2:00 pm.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Working, Elderly, Disabled, Honorably Discharged Veteran.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
