The Housing Authority of the City of Waynesboro (HACW) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACW offers one Public Housing community with 50 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the HACW to pick up an application, located at 1069 Wayne Street, Waynesboro, Wayne County, MS, between the hours of 8:00 until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, between the hour of 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with  your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HACW does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed by date time application is received.For more information, the HACW can be reached by calling 601-735-4522, during normal office hours.
